Mountains of Moss is the work of Adam Hickman Ewing and collaborators from various parts of Tennessee, most often Andy Dodson. Rooted in themes of nature and traditional music, compositions begin with guitar and take many directions there from, implementing voice, organs, harmonicas, fiddles, bowed saws, flutes and field recordings.
